Hi there - here is our new Block of the Month - Mon Ami.  It was adapted from a beautiful design by Verna Mosquera.  Hers was a wall hanging/throw size quilt and we have made ours bed size (62 x 74" - for info, the top of a queen size bed is 60").

We have also adapted our pattern for fusible webbing applique so you get reverse tracings and a photo on each monthly pattern cover.   Of course you get enough fabric to needleturn applique if you choose.   All together it is a great quilt for a young person and for the young at heart.  The picture makes the quilt look a little paler than it is as it has splashes of strong colour in the florals used in the applique.  It is chock full of French notions.

Also - hanging in a living area - it would make a great decorating focus as there are lots of French notions on the market now. 

We will starting this new program in August so sign up now if you love it because we only have enough for a certain limited number because of availability of the original border fabric which is a Rue St. Germain from Robyn Pandolph.  We have some limited amount of the pink in the border print also.
